General Information
Who can use KINTO Share?
Anyone between the age of 23 -65 with a valid driving license and a valid credit card under the laws of Singapore and at least 2 years of driving experience can make a booking under KINTO Share.
The validity of your driving license and credit card should be at least equal to the term of the booking. Additional YID excess of $3,000 applies for drivers age 27 years old and below.
Are the vehicles on the KINTO Share platform new?
Yes, the vehicles are new or near new condition. We ensure that the vehicles are well maintained and kept in tip top condition for every booking.
How do I make a booking?
Go to KINTO Share website at share.kinto-sg.com to make an online booking for your vehicle. You will need to provide credit card details, as well as pictures of your driver’s license and NRIC.
A refundable security deposit of $200 will be charged along with your online booking. The refund will be done after the completion of the booking.
Am I allowed to drive with an overseas driver’s licence?
You may drive with an overseas driver’s licence if it is duly valid in Singapore and meets the criteria outlined in the user agreement.
If your driving licence is not in the English language, we will require your international driving permit.
What are the operating hours for KINTO Share?
KINTO Share operates from 10am to 5pm from Monday to Sunday.
Online reservation is available 24 hours a day on the KINTO Share website at share.kinto-sg.com.
Am I allowed to drive the vehicle into Malaysia?
No. KINTO Share vehicles are allowed to be driven in Singapore only.
Are there mileage restrictions?
There are no mileage restrictions on KINTO Share vehicles.
What if my electric vehicle is low on battery?
You will be able to charge the electric vehicle (UX 300e) at the charging station at Lexus Boutique. Charging at the Lexus Boutique is complimentary.
Otherwise, you will be able to charge at other charging points around Singapore. Any fees for charging at external charging points will be at your own cost.
How long will the battery last for the Lexus Electric Vehicle?
The travelling range for the Lexus UX 300e is 360 km which will last about a week under normal driving conditions in Singapore.
Am I allowed to smoke in the vehicle?
No. Our KINTO Share vehicles are non-smoking vehicles. This is so we can maintain the vehicles to the highest possible standards for both you and other users.
Are pets allowed in a KINTO Share vehicle?
Yes, you can carry your pet inside of your KINTO Share vehicle.
Please ensure your pet travels in an animal carrier at all times. The purpose of this is to keep our vehicles to the highest possible standards for both you and other users.
Charges are applicable for the repair of any damages caused by the transport of pets including the removal of fur.
What should I do if the vehicle isn’t working properly or have a breakdown?
In the unlikely event of a breakdown or technical issues, please call our 24/7 roadside assistance team at +65 96726972.
Are there additional car accessories that I can add to my KINTO Share vehicle?
We are not able to provide additional accessories. Please bring along your own accessories such as child seats or cash cards.
What happens if I lose or damage an accessory?
As outlined in our Car Rental Agreement, you will be liable for the cost of any damaged, lost or missing accessories in the KINTO Share vehicle.
Do I need to use my own cash card?
Yes, please bring your own cash card, you will be liable for any ERP fines due to a missing cashcard.

Can I park my vehicle at the Lexus Boutique?
Unfortunately, no parking is not allowed at the Lexus Boutique.
Who is the provider of KINTO Share?
Toyota Financial Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. operates and manages the carsharing-company.com website.
The car leasing services under KINTO Share are provided and performed by Borneo Motors Singapore Pte. Ltd.
What if I get a traffic ticket during my booking period?
You are responsible for traffic violations and resulting legal action/fines. All traffic violation notices received will be redirected to you.
If we can’t redirect it, we will pay the fine, along with any late fees and invoice the total to the credit card that you made a booking with.
Can I use the vehicle for GRAB, Gojek?
No. The KINTO Share vehicle is only for social domestic use only. The professional use of the vehicle is not allowed.
Please read our terms and conditions carefully in detail before accepting those and booking a vehicle. You will find it at the booking page before making payment.
I have received a voucher code, can I use it more than once?
No, each voucher code is unique and you will only be able to use it once.
If you have placed a booking using a voucher code and cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will not be able to get a refund for voucher code value.
Bookings
No, you do not need to sign up to be a member or pay any membership fee to make a booking on KINTO Share.
Just make a quick and simple online reservation for your vehicle on our website at share.kinto-sg.com.
Yes, you will get the vehicle that you place a booking for. However, changes can occur in unforeseen circumstances where our vehicle is involved in an accident.
If this does happen, we will contact you in good time and offer you an alternative. Otherwise, a refund will be provided.
Vehicle handover and return is available during the operating hours from Mondays to Sundays from 10am to 5pm.
You can select your vehicle handover or return timing via the online booking website share.kinto-sg.com.
You can reserve your KINTO Share vehicle up to 5 days in advance. Please note that model availability may be limited for last minute reservations.
You can edit or cancel your KINTO Share booking by clicking the edit button on your booking confirmation email.
There will be no charges for any changes and cancellation made > 72 hours in advance before rental starts.
50% cancellation charges to be incurred between < 72hours and > 24 hours before start of rental. 100% cancellation charges to be incurred < 24 hours before start of rental.
Extension of your current booking period will be subjected to vehicle availability and additional cost. Any refunds will be carried out after the booking is completed.
You can change the KINTO Share model by simply cancelling your existing booking and making a new one with the desired model if the booking has not started.
This can be done by clicking the edit button on your booking confirmation email.
Do note that cancellation charges apply if it is done 24 hours before the start of rental.
The minimum booking period is 1 day (24 hours) and maximum booking period up to 4 days (96 hours). Booking is by blocks of 24 hours.

KINTO Share rates vary depending on model and usage period.

Do I have to make a full payment when I book the KINTO Share vehicle?
You will be required to make a payment once you place an online booking for KINTO Share vehicles.
There will also be a refundable security deposit of $200 that will be refunded after the booking is completed if there are no damages found or incidental costs when the vehicle is returned.
What does the price of a KINTO Share vehicle include?
The price includes the vehicle usage, a comprehensive insurance package and 24/7 roadside assistance.
Do I need to return the car with a full tank of fuel?
Yes, kindly return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel (to the brim).
Otherwise, we will fill it up and invoice you for the fuel costs that we filled up. This will be charged to the credit card that you made the booking with.
Do I need to return the car with a fully charged battery for the electric vehicle?
No, you will not be required to fully charge back the battery for the electric vehicle.
How do I pay for KINTO Share?
Full payment via credit card will be charged when you make an online booking for KINTO Share.
You will be billed based on your usage period and you will receive a confirmation email after you make an online booking for a KINTO Share vehicle.
What payment methods are available?
We accept payments via Visa and Mastercard credit cards.

Will I get a refund if KINTO Share fails to handover my vehicle for my booking?
In the event if we are not able to fulfil your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, the CS team will contact you and provide an alternative vehicle.
Otherwise, we will gladly provide a refund for your booking that was not fulfilled.
When will I receive my security deposit amount?
Once your booking is completed and the vehicle has been handed over to the Lexus Sales Consultant, you will receive an email to notify you of your refunded amount.
Insurance & Damage
Every KINTO Share vehicle is covered by a comprehensive 3rd party insurance policy. This is outlined in the car rental agreement.
Users will be liable for the insurance excess should a claim be made against our insurance policy.
Insurance excess amount can be found in the user agreement.
No, you cannot add additional drivers to your booking.
If an accident does unfortunately happen, please stay calm and follow the following procedures depending on the severity of the accident.
For accidents involving personal injury:
1. Switch on the hazard warning lights and secure the accident scene if necessary.
2. Call emergency number 999, administer first aid as required and inform the relevant emergency services.
For pure vehicle damage:
1. Switch on the hazard warning lights and secure the accident scene if necessary.
2. Look around to see if there are any witnesses and take photographs of the damage if you have a camera on hand.
3. Never admit liability at the accident scene.
4. Note down the insurance details of the other party.
5. Call our 24/7 roadside assistance Lexus on wheels at 96726972 immediately.
6. Report the damage within 24 hours of the accident.
Do note that this is a company registered vehicle hence it will have to adhere to our company’s insurance policy.
You are responsible for the vehicle as soon as the vehicle has been handed over to you during the vehicle reservation period.
Our Lexus Sales Consultants will do a thorough vehicle condition check before handing the vehicle over and will highlight any existing damages.
After your reservation period, our Lexus Sales Consultants will do another round of thorough vehicle check to ensure that the vehicle is in the same condition as it was when it was handed over to you.
Should there be any new damages found during the return handover vehicle check, you will be liable for the damages and cost of repair.
Any additional cost will be charged to the credit card that you made the online booking with.

Choose to collect your car at the Lexus Boutique or have it delivered to your preferred location.
3. Discover Lexus
Experience the amazing features of the latest Lexus models. Each vehicle can be used for up to 4 days. You are only allowed to drive in Singapore.
4. Return Your Car
Choose to have your car picked up or simply drive back to the Lexus Boutique when your reservation has ended.
